Evolving Mind and Body, LLC was born out of a transformative year for the world and my personal life. In 2020, while serving as the Program Director for RFK Academy, a therapeutic day school, I found myself navigating the overwhelming challenges of supporting students, families, and staff through uncharted territory—all while guiding my own child through virtual learning. Amid this chaos, I turned to my passion: helping others feel connected and supported.
I began offering telehealth services in the evenings as a way to recharge and provide solace to those in need. The profound fulfillment I felt inspired me to take a leap of faith in July 2021, transitioning to private practice full-time. Evolving Mind and Body became my platform to combine evidence-based therapy with holistic tools and nature-based healing to create lasting transformation for my clients.
I believe true healing comes from addressing the whole person—mind, body, and energy. Each individual’s journey is different, and I take the time to connect deeply with my clients, listening for both verbal and nonverbal cues to understand their goals and needs fully. I integrate nature and meaningful analogies as powerful teaching tools to help clients understand and embody the concepts we explore.
From examining sleep and nutrition to uncovering stressors and building routines for rest and recharge, my approach is tailored to help clients make meaningful connections within themselves and the world around them.
My journey hasn’t been without its hurdles. Growing up, my family life often appeared picture-perfect from the outside, but it came with its struggles. A sudden fire, multiple relocations, the loss of my mother, and personal battles with mental health and alcohol all tested my resilience.
However, these experiences ignited a transformative path for me. I reclaimed my well-being through fitness, mindfulness, and intentional choices, ultimately leading me to obstacle course racing and endurance events. Completing the Spartan Agoge—trekking over 70 miles in 60+ hours with almost no sleep—taught me the profound connection between mind, body, and nature. These life lessons fuel my dedication to helping others navigate their own transformations.
Humans are nature, and by reconnecting with the natural world, we reconnect with ourselves. Whether it’s observing the seasons or noticing how light changes the feel of a space, nature offers endless lessons in perspective, balance, and growth.
Incorporating nature into my practice—through Therapeutic Rucking, mindfulness exercises, or simply being outdoors—allows clients to reset their energy, shift neurotransmitters, and find grounding and clarity. Nature is not just a backdrop; it’s a profound healer.
I’m called to work with individuals who are highly motivated and ready to commit to their growth. My clients are open to shifting mindsets, embracing challenges, and trusting the process, even when it feels daunting.
Whether it’s increasing mindfulness, practicing grounding techniques, confronting limiting beliefs, or building gratitude, my goal is to empower clients to connect with themselves, others, and the natural world. Together, we create lasting change.
Transformation happens in the smallest moments.
These moments remind me why I do this work: to witness people reclaim their lives and embrace their authentic selves.
At the heart of my work lies a commitment to:
There’s nothing more rewarding than watching someone achieve what they once thought was impossible. When a client asks, “Are you serious?” and I confidently reply, “Yes,” it’s because I see the potential within them—even if they can’t yet. I love witnessing the moment when their mindset shifts, and they embrace the freedom of living authentically.
When I’m not guiding others on their journeys, I love spending time with family and friends, cuddling my pets Ruger, Loki, Tux and Skittles, and enjoying life’s simple pleasures. Whether it’s exploring the outdoors, listening to live music, or traveling, I find joy in adventure and connection.
Whether you’re seeking clarity, healing, or empowerment, I’m here to guide you toward your most vibrant, authentic self. Let’s take the first step together.
